About Me
Hey there, you awesome person!
My name is Ana Yzabela Marie Brucelas, but I prefer to be called Yza. I am a Software
Engineer from the
Philippines who believes that being creative and resourceful will take you everywhere.
Programming, Web Designing, and Arts/Crafts are three of my best traits. I really enjoy
getting my hands dirty and playing around with codebases—I find it fascinating because, in this field,
the only limit is your imagination. While I have a formal Information Technology background, I’ve taken
pride in being largely self-taught, mastering Java and Python as my
primary tools for building
solutions.
Currently, I’m working full-time as a Tech Process Senior Associate at Google Operations
Center, but
I’ve never believed a person is defined solely by their desk job. I thrive on the synergy between my
tech career and my "side quests." Whether I'm designing sticker collections for my journaling community
or playing video games and streaming my sessions to connect with others, I bring the same focus and
adventurous spirit to every project.
Check out the rest of my portfolio and see what I am up to on social media.
Here are some of my favorite lines from well-known people:
"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources" ~ Albert Einstein
"The comfort zone is the great enemy to creativity" ~ Dan Stevens
"Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice" ~ Steve Jobs
And I live by the motto, "If others can, why can't I?" ~ Unknown
Cheers!

Good job for getting a perfect score from the evaluation after taking the Technical Foundation for Framework training. During the training, I know it was a lot to take in but I would suggest to be more interactive should you find the topic very vague. I hope you find the training interesting and help you decide to pursue being a TA.

Ana was one of the participants during the Cobol to Java (C2J) Conversion session last Oct. 14, 2019. She actively participated and based on the assessment, she understood most parts of the discussion.

Ana worked really hard to submit all the deliverables for Java Bootcamp. She's determined and willing to learn a new language. Still has a room for improvement in terms of understanding the concepts of Java. She has the potential to become a good programmer. She can be an asset to any project because of her patience and perseverance on her activities.

Great job on doing the installation of CCB that will be used by ERCS project. Even recently just learned how to install this application, you have managed to help us all the way to starting up the CCB without issues.

She has a lot to offer for the team - technical wise, quick to adapt instructions or guidance and delivers very well. Also, she takes notes on her opportunity areas and works hard to improve on them.

Yza's remarkable determination and dedication to achieving both personal and performance goals are
commendable, despite being the last member onboarded to the team.
Her proactive approach shines through in how she actively supports her teammates with complex
configurations and utilizes her programming skills to contribute valuable automation ideas. These
actions not only showcase her expertise but also contribute to her professional growth.
Harvey Cureg
Tech Process Team Lead | Google Operations Center
Yza’s performance was characterized by perfect delivery on core metrics and high-volume output. She
achieved 100% on TFR and TRT and elevated her Quality average to 98.48% overall, with zero escalations
or privacy violations. Despite team capacity challenges, she consistently meets efficiency targets,
reaching productivity highs of over 200% and maintaining a yearly average of 165.89%. Her discipline in
resolving aging tickets daily prevented backlog growth, showcasing excellent queue management.
Yza shifted from a process executor to a solution builder this year. She proactively developed two key
prototypes: the "Payments Formatter," which enhances data security by removing reliance on third-party
sites, and the "Pre-Launch Dashboard" for tracking L1 handling times. Her participation in Cogspark and
VSM v2 logistics, combined with her technical upskilling in Microsoft Azure and AI, allowed her to
automate scripts and suggest tools that align 3P workflows with 1P standards.
